School Activities

We are a very CREATIVE school and love to put on plays and musical performances for our friends and parents. Every child is able to take part and everyone enjoys these special days.

We encourage all the children to eat HEALTHILY and to learn about a good diet and food preparation. We also enjoy occasional treats like 'pizza day' and picnics all together on the lawn.

All the children in the school have their own JOBS, from learning to answer the phone and make calls to tidying books and ringing the bell. The older children also spend time reading to the younger ones.

TRIPS play a very special part in the life of the school. We love to go and meet animals on the farm, explore history in museums, learn about geography on field trips and go to the theatre. A particular favourite of ours is when we travel by train to spend the day at the seaside.

Every two years the older children have the opportunity to spend a wonderful week in ROME, learning about its history, art and the Italian way of life.

OFSTED said:

'The school has a supportive and caring family ethos where all pupils are respected as individuals. They achieve well and grow in self esteem and self-confidence. Pupils are very happy at the school and they become mature and responsible young people. They learn to be very considerate towards each other. A broad curriculum enables them to make good progress in the basic skills and also encourages an interest and enthusiasm for languages and the creative arts.'

smile please!

We warmly invite parents and guardians to visit the school and discuss their child's education and prospective pupils may be invited to spend a day with us.
